Senior Change Accountant - 12 month FTC

Grafton Banks Finance is assisting our international listed client in Brighton, with an exciting senior change role for a 12 month FTC. Supporting the Head of Change Management, you'll be supporting the delivery of projects for internal and external change requirements, acting as a consultant to the financial reporting team.

Coming from a financial services background in either a financial reporting role or a finance change position, you'll be able to help develop their financial accounting processes, conducting feasibility studies and researching best ways to improve data flow for reporting purposes. This role will suit a Qualified Accountant with 2 years + in Financial Services, along with a keen ability for stakeholder management.

Other role responsibilities will include

Your role will be to support with a portfolio of finance projects, determine project timelines, conduct feasibility studies, propose process improvements and deliver solutions.

Other responsibilities will include:-

• Acting as consultant to financial reporting business units to assess impact of changes on financial accounting efficiencies and controls
• Support testing for new systems implementation
• Using best practice for assessment and design of accounting processes.

Skills Required

• Qualified accountant with 2 years+ in Financial Services
  
  • Financial reporting with some experience of process change/improvement, or
  • Or a Finance Change agent with strong systems skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
