A leading manufacturing business based in the city of Hull are seeking to appoint a IoT Project Engineer to join growing Digital Services department. Producing nationally renowned products for both commercial and domestic markets the business is now set for further growth into a new market space. The IoT Project Engineer will be required to work with multi-disciplined teams to support and deliver on time in full for key projects within the business. The IoT Project Engineer will also be responsible for:

* Supporting of IoT Platform Manager and Digital Services team to create and deliver agreed projects to time, cost and specification in line with company policy and procedures to industry regulation and standards.

* Collaborating with third party expertise / contracts as required to meet NPI and advanced development programmes.

* Developing and maintain a sound theoretical and technical knowledge and understanding

* Effectively building relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Support the planning of projects within area of responsibility and delivery of all agreed projects in adherence with NPI & company processes

* Developing and maintaining Agile product backlogs, user stories and supporting documentation as well as developing sprint plans in support of the Platform Manager, working to refine the contents for each iteration working with developers and partners to ensure backlogs and tasks are appropriately detailed.

* Supporting of the creation and monitoring of budgets, business case, risk register, H&S, timeline & resource plan, while ensuring efficient and effective delivery.

To be successful in the role of IoT Project Engineer you will have:

* Project experience within Engineering, IT, or Manufacturing sectors

* Preferably have HND/Degree in a relevant subject area

* A basic Knowledge and prior experience of NPI

* An understanding of waterfall and/or Scrum/agile methodologies

* A can-do attitude and the drive to move projects forward, with an ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

* Excellent relationship building skills with previous experience of managing stakeholders internally and externally

* Previous experience of IoT is desirable

* Knowledge and experience of lean methodology and/or agile and scrum methodology is desirable

* An ability to learn is essential

* Strong communication skills are essential
