Team Leader - Warehouse
4x4 days 8:00 - 20:00

Working on behalf of our client, Mach are looking for a permament Warehouse Team Leader.
Key responsibilities:
Smooth running of the full operation process
Safe working practices within fast-paced environment
Maintaining and improving performance and productivity
Ensuring that all KPI information is reported into correct systems accurately
Daily walks of the area to ensure the area is safe and tidy and ready to start the day before the shift begins
Daily Workplace Inspection
Attend a pre-shift brief with the Senior Team Leader
Hold a start of shift huddle with their team (H&S, People, Cost, Quality, Delivery)
Update Senior Team Leader on actual headcounts and any flexibility in that area
Ensure section achieves the daily KPI and works efficiently via hourly updates to the systems and managing performance
Ensure section employees are fully trained and multi-skilled to carry out various roles and training records are update accordingly
Undertake time-bound 1-2-1 reviews identifying any training requirements and development opportunities
Manage, support and create a structured development plan to address under performance
Administrative duties as and when required
Carrying out return to work interviews with employees
Ensuring that all operatives are compliant with the company H&S policy
Reviewing their relevant SWMs with their Senior Team Leader and feeding any suggested changes to the H&S team
Onboard new starters and ensure that they integrate comfortably within the team, meet regularly with them and record their progress during their probationary period
Ensuring that their sections operatives have the correct equipment required to complete their daily tasks
Requirements:
An experienced Team Leader
Experience managing a team in a warehouse environment
The client will provide progressive training and development and is always looking to invest in its employees and enhance their skill sets.
