They own and manage around 40,000 homes in Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool and beyond, making Torus the region's largest affordable housing provider.

They are currently seeking an Applications Support Officer to join their team based in Liverpool. The main purpose of this role is to deliver key business applications ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively in order to meet the operational and business needs of users and business departments.

This is an important role in which you will:

Support and develop a range of applications and become the primary expert in some applications, this includes installing client software, upgrades and end-user support and advice

*

Lead on the implementation of new systems and modules including data conversion issues and other migration matters

*

Understand integration, interfaces, API's and touch points

*

Ensure the provision of excellent IT services by providing daily support via the service desk

*

Liaising with 3rd parties on the implementation, development and on-going support of applications

*

Champion user research, ensuring solutions enable the use of software

To be successful in this role you will:

Understand Applications, front end processes

*

Hold a relevant recognised qualification

*

Have proven experience in the provision of high-quality business application support

*

Have the ability to analyse problems and make quick decisions to keep down time to a minimum

*

Have the ability to project manage, understanding the importance of individual / team tasks to meet overall objectives

*

Be able to plan and prioritise own workload effectively

*

Be passionate, committed and self-motivated with the ability to inspire others

*

Be a strong communicator
