We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client a HR Administrator to join their existing team on a 24-month fixed term contract.

The requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to effectively manage their time, have a professional attitude, and be a team player. Your main duties will include;

* Updating and maintaining physical and digital personnel records.

* Maintaining our time and attendance HR System.

* Dealing with day-to-day queries via email and telephone and where necessary escalating queries within the team.

* Supporting the HR function with HR administrative tasks (onboarding, offboarding, etc.)

* Supporting the HR Team with recruitment related tasks (maintaining live vacancies, distributing CVs, and coordinating interviews.)

Essential skills and or experience:

* A strong administrator with at least 1 year's previous experience in an HR environment and/or recruitment position.

* A good understanding of how to deliver compliant HR administration.

* Well organised with the ability to prioritise work proactively, independently and as part of the team.

* Excellent IT and administration skills - attention to detail is a must.

* Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of HR records and conduct.

* Excellent communication skills.

Desirable skills and or experience:

* Ability to proactively contribute to improving processes and for proposing new way of working.

* Knowledge of basic employment law and HR/Recruitment practices would be advantageous.

* Knowledge of MitreFinch Time and Attendance HR System or similar
