Carnival UK is moving forward with its restart plan, post our Covid pause in operations, and long-term strategy of growth in our ships. Therefore, there is a big increase of workload both in restart projects and business as usual, this creates opportunities for people within and outside our organisation.

We are recruiting for an HR Consultant who is required to provide support to Senior HR Managers (SHRM) with the people changes during this period of growth across our fleet.

The Role

In the role of HR Consultant you will be required to support SHRMs to drive the Carnival UK (CUK) People Strategy within the fleet, ensuring it aligns to and enables the organisational goals to be achieved and to deliver the cultural and people aspects of organisational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives within the fleet

This will include influencing and guiding the fleet team on process, tracking and reporting on progress and working with different People Team and Fleet Operations providers across the business to support facilitation of seamless people changes.

The HR Consultant will also need to be a subject matter expert in our on-board Crew Office Operation and support the SHRM by ensuring that all procedures are fit for purpose, remain in line with MLC and company guidelines, are operated consistently across the fleet and Crew Office team are trained and provide a high level of service to our crew,

In addition, this role will also provide support with the delivery and continuous improvement of our cyclical HR activities as directed by the Senior People Directors (SPDs) and People Leadership Team.

You will responsible for working closely with the business and service delivery teams to balance their respective needs and demands through to closure.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have been previously accountable for delivering service or administration excellence, preferably in a large organisation.

You will have experience in process delivery and tracking with multiple moving parts/deadline and be comfortable communicating with multiple stakeholders, including providing advice and influencing others.

You will be organised, with a proven ability to prioritise according to the changing requirements of the business and have excellent attention to detail with a focus on 'getting it right first time'

You will be confident in all Microsoft Office applications, ideally with the ability to create trackers and dashboards to drive delivery.
