Search Human Resources is currently partnering an exciting public sector business based in Liverpool to recruit a HR Assistant. This is a 6 month fixed term contract paying up to GBP32,000
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager and working as part of a larger team, you will act as the first point of contact for all managers and staff across the organisation providing support and guidance through the HR life cycle.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Actively support the business on all ER activities including disciplinary, grievance, probation reviews, attendance management, flexible working and redeployment
* Working with the management teams to proactively identify people issues and offer the appropriate resolution
* Manage formal and informal cases as requested by the Senior HR Manager, providing guidance and supporting managers ensuring compliance and best practice
* Coach managers as appropriate ensuring full understanding and any implications of decisions they make
* Manage and maintain contracts, personnel files and other employee information
* Ensure all contractual changes are communicated in accurate and timely manner
* Analyse attendance data and identify and trends or patters and offer the appropriate advice to the managers
* Guide and coach managers in attendance review meetings working together on improvement plans
* Support the managers with an organisational change
The suitable candidate for this role will have experience of operating in a similar role, ideally you will be degree educated (or equivalent) and be CIPD qualified. Due to the role being a fixed term contract we can only consider candidates who are available to start at short notice.
