Role: SEN Support-Mainstream Primary School
Location: Gateshead
Salary: Up to GBP75 per day
Start Date: September 2021
GSL education is currently looking for a passionate SEN Support Assistant for an outstanding Mainstream Parimary School in Gateshead, from September 2021. The school is looking for someone who will work within their SEN unit supporting year 4/5/6 pupils with additional needs. Great working knowledge of Primary curriculum is required to able to apply for this role.
The school is easy to access by Car and Public transport. Current vacancies are looking for candidates to work full-time (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday).
The successful candidates will:
Have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members.
Assist students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis.
Be a confident, outgoing and personable individual with a passion for helping people.
Hold a valid "child only" enhanced DBS on the Update Serviceor be willing to process one through GSL.
