We are on the lookout for a Test Manager to help drive the testing process forward for a well-known company in Hampshire.
Boasting an exciting time of real organic growth, this company are hiring a Test Manager who can take real ownership across test deliverables. This ideal candidate will have team management experience, the ability to implement test plans and break down high level requirements for each testing type.
As the company already boast a strong Team of Testers; a significant part of the role will be to help them develop their skills and careers further; acting as a positive influence and encouraging role model. A bit of background on the current Test teams?
They work across a combination of Manual and Automation. Their automation testing is done using, Selenium and Java, however other OOP languages are considered also. Both agile and Waterfall methodologies are used throughout the testing process, with Waterfall being the core structure.
Responsibilities
Drive the Test management process
Manage the Test Team
Define Test plans and approaches
Liaise with regression team to agree budget and seek agreement from stakeholders
Report on Test Metrics provided by the test team
Provide governance for the project/programmeSkills
Experience managing a Test Team
Knowledge of Web and Mobile testing
automation testing background (Selenium)
