Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with an innovative, exciting manufacturing company who are the market leader in their sector based in South Yorkshire, the company have seen year on year growth and are looking for a Production Manager to continue to drive the company forward, this role will have full autonomy of people management, quality, health & safety and cost efficiency.
The role is working Mon-Friday 2pm - 10pm but this could flex and change dependant on workload so would require someone who is open and flexible.
My client is looking for ambitious individuals who have the desire to progress but who also have the right managerial experience and can 'stand on their own two feet'.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensuring both a safe working environment and safe systems of working across the site at all times
* An effective production plan to deliver product on time and in full to the desired cost and quality
* Work with the senior management team to implement the best practice and CI strategy
* Supervise the production team to produce and prioritise jobs when necessary and to meet deadline changes and updates
* Monitor all quality, accuracy & timeliness of all orders
* Help prepare, update and communicate the production schedule
* Liaise effectively with the sales & engineering team to make sure all customer objectives are met
We are keen to speak with professionals who can demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:
* Management of a team, with a proven track record of getting the best out of people
* Data driven, with a strong understanding of KPI's and the importance of these
* Experience within a FMCG environment would be a huge benefit
* Health & Safety focused IOSH or NEBOSH qualified would be a benefit
* Strong understanding of modern manufacturing techniques, with examples of how they have been implemented - this a critical element to the role
