Application Support Analyst - Global Financial Software Company - Horsham (flexi remote) - 25k to 32k plus bens including free gym and car parking, pension, healthcare and more.
Are you an ambitious, technically inquisitive Application Support Analyst with at least 12 months experience in your current role looking for a new challenge, perhaps looking to switch your industry sector and move into Financial Services and the exciting world of FinTech? To apply you'll need at least 12 months' experience in a Support Analyst role where you will already have gained a good understanding on SQL fundamentals, monitored applications using cloud-based infrastructure, and gained an in-depth knowledge of MS Office and advanced Excel. If you also have an excellent command of both spoken and written English and first-class customer service skills then you will have the necessary foundations to apply for this application support analyst position to embark on an exciting career with this Fintech. Each day, you will be involved in investigating and resolving incidents within set SLA timeframes, monitoring server infrastructure and application performance, assisting with application deployments and software patches, supporting the Database team with imports, migrations and bulk data changes as well as being involved in logic checking of SQL scripts and procedures.

* Previous Financial services Industry experience
* An advanced understanding of how to provide support to Cloud based web applications
* A good understanding of C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
* Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, database troubleshooting and performance tuning of stored procedures
* Experience of working within SAFe methodology
* 12 months' experience in a Support Analyst role
* ITIL certified
* Due to the shift nature of this support role it would be beneficial if you have your own transport to work as there may be an occasional early shift.
