Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Salary: GBP65- GBP80 per day
Location: Durham
Start Date: September 2021
GSL Education are currently looking to appoint several experienced Cover Supervisors for our Secondary client schools in Durham, from September 2021.
The school setting is based in Durham and is easy to access by Car and Public transport. Current vacancies are looking for candidates to work full-time (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday) in the Secondary provision.
This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Cover Supervisor, or has worked with secondary aged pupils within a different setting, such as a sports club or drama club. We are also interested in receiving applications from candidates who have delivered workshops within secondary schools and can quickly engage with students.
Skills you should possess for this job:
You must be a great rapport builder who can establish boundaries quickly and effectively
Relevant Classroom based experience
Great organisational skills
The ability to make academic work fun and enriching is essential
We welcome applications from experienced HLTA's and teachers of any age group or subject
We offer a variety of full and part time shifts but you must have a minimum of 3 full days a week availability
You must have a DBS on the UDS or be willing to complete an application
Flexibility on location
