Communications Manager - Glasgow/Edinburgh - 6 Months

Harvey Nash's public sector client is currently looking for a Communications Manager to join them on an initial six month contract. The role will be based at home until restrictions are lifted, then the expectation is that some time would be spent in the Glasgow office and some in the Edinburgh office. You will be responsible for taking the organisations digital mobile app service through Scottish Government Digital Standards process.

Main Duties:

• Lead and develop the specific mobile app service, including marketing and communications, ascertaining full life cycle requirements of the service.
• Own and manage the end-to-end digital user experience for specified customer journeys, using service blueprinting to map all interactions and identify optimisation opportunities to produce the best customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Identify target audience and work closely with suppliers, designers and stakeholders to shape the ideal customer experience using relevant customer and business insight to support the overarching marketing campaign for the Young Persons Free Bus Scheme.
