Light Assembly Operative
East Midlands Gateway

4on 4off, 7am - 7pm GBP11.50ph

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative, Factory Operative or Assembly Operative looking for a long term, ongoing position?
Do you live within commutable distance from East Midlands Gateway?
Are you available immediately? If so, please read on!
Our prestigious client in Castle Donington is looking for 100 Warehouse Operatives to work within their Assembly department on a full time, ongoing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading freight forwarder who constantly recognises and rewards their teams.
Main duties:
Assembling small plastic components
Packaging items to specific quality standards
Reworking damaged items
Conducting quality checks
Working towards a realistic productivity target
Other ad-hoc duties
The Person:
Strong work ethic
Good attention to detail
Can commit to 12 hour shifts ( don't worry stools are provided so you can opt to stand or sit)
Can work to a reasonable pace
Respect others whilst working within a team environment
Immediately available
You will work in a COVID secure environment, with hand sanitiser and social distancing measures applied throughout.
The company benefits from free parking, onsite canteen with hot food 24 hours, free gym and a stimulating environment which promotes growth.
To be considered for this role, you need to pass a DBS check and Background check (not chargeable).
