We are looking to fill the critical role of communications co-ordinator in our busy communications and public affairs team.

You will provide support to two high-profile projects, the Accolades awards, and the care worker card.

You will also support the team by building our various e-bulletins and managing their mailing lists, monitoring, and managing our email inboxes, looking after and updating our intranet pages and providing general administrative support to the team.

The main purpose of the job is to:

  • provide administrative support for organising the annual Accolades awards to recognise excellent care

  • assist with maintaining and developing the care worker card project, which is designed to identify care practitioners as key workers and provide them with benefits

  • build our monthly e-bulletins and weekly digest

  • monitor and manage a variety of email inboxes used by people who wish to communicate with us

  • maintain and develop key information about the team on our intranet, as well as collect and record key metrics related to our work

  • provide general administrative support to the communications and public affairs team.

We are looking for people who can carry out every aspect of the job in Welsh and English.

Although we have offices in Cardiff and St Asaph, we are all working from home at the moment and expect this will continue for a little while yet.

We will be holding interviews for the shortlisted candidates on 9 September.

We are currently holding our interviews over Zoom and, if you’re invited to interview, we’ll give you a chance to test it out beforehand if you’re unfamiliar with it.
