Responsibilities:

You will lead and support across a range of different areas and your responsibilities will include:

  • Auditing, validating, and inputting accurate data into our MySQL / MSSQL Databases
  • Power BI development and administration, including: Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI desktop
  • Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Analytics
  • Work with eCommerce Sales, Service, Purchasing & Warehouse Teams with data auditing
  • Producing Excel data analysis and reports, including operational data gathering forms
  • To contribute towards project documentation and developing operational methods using available data sources
  • Understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking accountability of the resources
  • Organise workload effectively to meet business needs
  • Occasionally support IT with hardware/software based tasks & projects

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports
  • Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
  • Proficient in DAX queries in Power BI desktop
  • Proficient in Excel and various techniques for data analysis
  • Expertise in MySQL & SQL data sources
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail

Desirable Skills:

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail
  • Experience of report writing and professional level documentation
  • Expertise in using advance level calculations within a data set
  • Expertise in MySQL, SQL and DAX queries in Power BI desktop
  • Experience with programming languages should as C#, VB, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge or Experience of secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, etc
  • Full UK driving licence with the use of your own vehicle

Job Specifics:

  • Working days: Monday - Friday
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary GBP19,000 - GBP21,000 per annum
  • Location: The role will involve a flexible approach to working as locations of work may vary from our Office in Bromborough, Home working and our other Office locations in ST4 Stoke on Trent and CH5 Deeside Ewloe.
