Are you a Fleet Support Operator looking for a new challenge? Are you a self-motivated individual who can work under pressure? Are you experienced within the logistics/haulage industry? If so, then this could be the role for you.
My client is looking for a Permanent/full time Fleet Support Operator to join their team based in Kent. You will be required to work Monday-Friday, therefore can enjoy your weekends off.
The ideal candidate will hold basic knowledge pertaining to UK / EU customs procedures and experience within the freight forwarding/haulage industry. You will need to have the ability to work on your own in a high-pressured environment, to able to make decisions on your own and hold strong analytical and organisation skills.
Responsibilities:
?? Planning of vehicles taking load factors, driving hours, legal requirements, and customer opening hours.
?? Decision making on own initiative.
?? Profit & Loss responsibility
?? Ensure that collection and deliveries are carried out as per instructions by supervising and monitoring closely.
?? Handle good communication between offices, customers, sub-contractors and drivers and any other parties involved in the process.
?? Commercial Representation.
