We are looking to recruit a PERMANENT Manufacturing Opertaive for our client based in Horsforth, we are looking for a stable candidate with longevity and a good attitude to work.
The main purpose of the role will be to assist their skilled operatives in the manufacture of a bespoke product, you will be required to operate machinery, work to specifications, use hand tools, and undertake basic quality checks using measuring equipment. Eventually you will be trained to be fully competant in the manufacture of their product.
THE ROLE:
* Measuring product using measuring equipment
* Operating machinery, assisting skilled operatives in the manufacturing process
* Learning to read specifactions and set machinery
* Assisting with the manufacture of small and large batch work
* Using hand tools
THE CANDIDATE:
* Must come from a manufacturing environment, machine operating
* Understand the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
* Must be able to read and write in English, due to some duties required
* Quality checking experience or a good eye for detail is essential
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
* GBP10.50 per hour
* Training on their product is provided
* Hours of work 8:00 - 16:45 monday to Thursday ( Early Finish on a friday)
* Free parking
* Local eateries, transport links and fuel stations
