Role: Electrical Project Engineer
Duration: 8 months
Site: Killingholme - 100% site based
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to work with the existing project team to support the plant construction and commissioning.
Role Responsibilities:
* Experience of taking a technical role in power engineering projects within power generation plants, renewables or industrial environments including integration of balance of plant (BoP) equipment and earthing systems.
* Experience of working in a multi-disciplined teams of permanent, temporary and sub-contractors to deliver customer facing solutions on construction, installation or major overhaul contracts.
* Ability to interpret Client design requirements and translate into technical and commercial proposal (with commercial support)
* Experience of creating technical specifications for HV and LV electrical equipment
* Experience of witnessing factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests, equipment commissioning and plant handover on behalf of clients or within their own organisation's.
* The ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets
* A flexible approach to working hours and location.
* Have good interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of technical understanding
* Are self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, and organise their workload and priorities.
* Take an innovative approach to solving problems
Role Requirements:
* Educated to degree level/HNC/HND in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
* IOSH Safety qualification, NEBOSH desirable
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office products, including Projects, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Experience of working on UK plants is preferred although not essential
