We are currently seeking an Asset Land Intelligence Coordinator to join us on a fixed term contract for 12-18 months. The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the validation exercise relating to Torus land based assets held within the GIS system and identifying land parcels for disposal / redevelopment.

 

This is an important role in which you will:

  • Liaise with the GIS coordinator to ensure we hold accurate GIS mapped land data
  • Identify and potentially survey all of our land based assets, designating their current and potential use as well as identifying any current risks
  • Identify potential land parcels for disposal or re-use
  • Survey and document all land opportunities within our heartlands
  • Liaise internally and externally regarding land sale matters
  • Act as a champion of change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience of working within a land asset based role along with a recognised qualification in land management or property / asset management
  • Have experience of managing risks associated with the condition and configuration of land assets, including liaising with delivery teams to eliminate or mitigate risks
  • Have experience of working with housing / asset management and GIS syste
  • Understand the vision of Torus and the social housing sector
  • Be capable of influencing and inspiring others

 

It would be advantageous for you to also:

  • Have knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements for land management and disposal within the social housing sector
  • Have extensive experience of managing the disposal of land fixed assets
