Overview

To provide complete, accurate and robust financial reporting to clients on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis.

To support clients with queries relating to the financial position of their loan pools.

To ensure that client's cash sweeps are completed in line with servicing agreements with appropriate sign off in accordance with delegated authorities.

Produce accurate client billing reports based upon system data.

To identify areas of process and controls improvement surrounding the preparation of financial reports.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

Responsible for BGMSL revenue and billing reporting by ensuring delivery of all regular billing reports and data to support the Corporate Finance function.

Operational Management

Responsibility for timely and accurate delivery of Financial Reporting Packs and general ledger reports to clients for use in their own accounting records & statutory reporting.

Responsibility for the delivery of investor reports to Trustees & other 3rd parties as required.

Responsibility for daily transfer of investor cash for structured finance deals.

People Leadership

Responsible for the day to day leadership of the Financial Reporting Team

Ensuring that team members are trained and supported in their work and development

Governance & Risk

Representing the Financial Reporting Team in internal changes, cross-team and external client related change projects.

Experience & Personal Attributes

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA)

Financial Reporting Experience

Ability to interpret complex written, spoken and numerical data

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet set objectives in tight timescales

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy.

Aptitude to multi task and be highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of a multi-client environment

Strong attention to detail.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
