An exciting opportunity to join the market leader for medical services in the road transport sector. You would be joining our client's head office team and helping them maintain their leading position in the industry by looking after their existing business customers and helping them acquire new customers.

Duties:

* Assisting the Commercial Manager with business development activities, including launching new services and implementing process changes

* Assisting the Commercial Manager to achieve business objectives and increase turnover

* Calling potential customers to introduce our service, identify their requirements, and acquire new business

* Build and maintain strong relationships with our business partners including various trade associations, whilst maximizing the commercial value of these relationships at every opportunity

* Developing relationships with our portfolio of 250+ business customers, providing them with a friendly point of contact, and ensuring that sales opportunities are identified and maximised

* Planning and attending exhibitions and events

* Answering calls professionally and politely and providing an excellent level of customer service at all times.

* Accurately and efficiently recording bookings on the appointment system

* Updating various spreadsheets and recording data promptly and accurately

* Recording meeting minutes, producing meeting agendas, and scheduling management meetings to enable senior management to be effective

* Participating in regular meetings with management to report progress and identify issues

* Responding to formal complaints and providing resolutions

* Producing internal and external data reports for management and clients using Excel (pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc)

* Ensuring strict adherence to GDPR, patient confidentiality, and internal policies and procedures at all times

* Dealing with customer queries calmly and professionally and providing resolutions.

Required:

* Experience in a similar role or with a background in Sales, Customer Service, and Administration.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Able to work under pressure

* Good attention to detail

* Strong organisational skills

* Computer literate, including all Microsoft Packages (able to use pivot tables and produce graphs on Excel)
