We're currently working on a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a leading Cambridge education institute as their next Junior Management Accountant. This is a newly created position and within this role you will report into the Management Accountant.
Within this role there are a number of duties that will fall under your remit, including:
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assist with the budgeting process
- Oversee the Billing process for the organisation
- Line Management of the Accounts Administrator, including being responsible for their development and training needs
- Provide accurate financial reports
- Ad hoc duties at the discretion of your line manager
In order to be successful in this position, you will ideally possess the following set of skills and attributes:
- Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or possess relevant equivalent qualifications
- Experience in month end duties and working in a busy finance environment
- Good communication skills
- Strong excel skills, Pivot Tables, V Lookups etc
- Ability to prioritise workload and be self motivated in your approach
This role is based in the city centre of Cambridge and offers a strong holiday and benefit package. The role will be split between working from home and working in the office. For office based days, there is limited on site parking availability but the organisation can be accessed easily by public transport links
