Job Title: Night Support worker
Rate: GBP9 - GBP12 p/hr
Reporting into: Social Work Service Manager
Service: Night Support Worker
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Harry James Recruitment are urgently recruiting self-motivated individuals to work specifically as night time Support Workers, within ISWP Group for work around Reading, Berkshire, with children and young people who have experienced traumatic, challenging upbringings.
We have a range of work that requires Support Workers to undertake night shifts. This post includes a range of duties and responsibilities as determined and assigned by ISWP as per the requirement of our clients.
Person Specification:
* This post requires satisfactory clearance of a Disclosure & Barring Service (formerly CRB) disclosure.
* The post also requires proof of residence and right to work in the UK.
* GCSE level or equivalent Education NVQ3
* Knowledge of 'Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation
* Experience of working in similar environment
* Good interpersonal skills including to make positive relationships with children, their carers and birth family members
* Good report writing and verbal reasoning skills
* Ability to prioritise
* Ability to travel effectively to different locations
* Demonstrate professionalism
* Car driver and access to a car will be an advantage
