The Role
We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at CTD, based in Preston. This role is a Full time role Monday- Fridays with Saturday working. You will assist the Branch Manager with developing sales and maximising profitability through building successful relationships within the designated customer base and by managing Branch staff to support the strategy of "Be the REFERENCE Tile Distributor for customers and suppliers with the best teams"
What are we looking for in an Assistant Branch Manager?
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths & English
Driving Licence is essential
Forklift Licence (desirable)
Proven experience in a customer focused role
Product and commercial awareness
Knowledge of the market
Team Leadership & People Development experience
IT Literate and proficient with MS Office
Working knowledge of H&SWhat will I be Responsible for?
Assisting the Branch Manager in achieving Branch Targets
Support are required in all aspects of Branch Management
Deal with customers face-to-face and offer specific advice to customers on products and use
Participate in stock management process
Demonstrate and encourage flexibility in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business
