With a turnover in excess of £170 million, over 10,000 students and a total staff of approximately 2000, the University provides high quality teaching across a wide range of academic and vocational subjects and promotes world-class research.

This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Student Services. Student Services and the support we provide is crucial to the wellbeing of our students and contributing to the success of the University. We strive to enhance the
quality of the student experience and support recruitment, progression, retention and attainment.

Through the support provided, students are able to develop strategies to keep themselves well, build support networks and develop key skills to support their professional and personal development.

This role will be a crucial part of our Residence Life Team, providing effective, professional and sensitive support to students through pastoral and welfare support but also by contributing to events and activities arranged across the campus during the evening and night. The Residence Life Manager (Out of Hours) will work closely with other Residence Life Managers, Resident Advisers and Security to deliver 24/7 provision of support for students on campus, helping to develop self-supporting communities and community cohesion.

We are looking for an individual who has experience of providing support and advice, with the ability to respond to crisis and deal with complex cases and issues. This role involves night working and so the post holder would need to work closely with internal and external teams to ensure that the right

The University is committed to operating flexible working practices wherever possible.
