Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is one of the largest locally based housing organisations in the East Midlands. Across the region we manage over 9,000 homes; house more than 15,000 tenants; provide over 1,500 bed spaces for people with support/care needs, in over 250 properties; and provide more than 950,000 hours of care and support each year. We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in Lyttleton Road.

 

What do we offer at Lyttleton Road?

Lyttleton Road provides support for adults with a wide range of support needs including ASD, learning disabilities, Mental health problems and ABI. We support individuals with activities of daily living, including maintaining their accommodation, prompting/supporting with personal care, food shopping and preparation and accessing the local community.

What you will be doing:

Your role will be to provide a person centred support for individuals with a range of needs. You will work with the management team to ensure the health and wellbeing of the people we support. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service that you provide complies with NCHA policies and procedures and is also in line with CQC regulations.

 

ABOUT YOU:

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work flexibility and on a shift basis to cover the following shift patterns:

 

Early shifts 7am -2.30pm, Late shifts 2.30pm - 10pm, Waking nights from 10pm - 7am and regular weekend working and bank holidays.

 

Whilst experience is not essential as full training will be provided, we very much welcome previous experience working as a Home Carer, Care Worker, Health Care Assistant, Nurses, Social Care Worker, Mental Health Worker. Above all, we are looking for people who are Flexible, enthusiastic, adaptable, reliable and honest with a good sense of humour and a willingness to learn.
