Gloucester City Homes is an ambitious social housing provider with over 4,600 homes in the city. We have a strong track record of success and a clear vision for the future. We are one of the sectors’ leading community-based Housing Associations and ranked at No 40 in the Times Top 100 companies to work for.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our talented team and support colleagues. Whilst we are proud of our success, we know that to stay at the top of our game, we need the brightest talent that will help us to build on our reputation, work to our values and act in accordance with them.

As the Finance Business Partner to our Property Care, Asset Management and Development teams, you will demonstrate an ability to see the bigger picture, adapting to the latest ideas and situations and take decisions that can make such a positive difference to people’s lives as we improve existing homes and develop much needed new homes.

Whilst you may have previously worked in the sector, this is not essential. We need you to have the right attitude and behaviours, with an ability to learn quickly, equip yourself with the relevant skills to deliver highly effective services to our colleagues, and partners.

About you:

An experienced Finance Business Partner with a track record in financial and management reporting, working with non-finance colleagues to help improve service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Be able to translate complex financial data into meaningful and useful information for decision making

Be an effective communicator, able to support and constructively challenge colleagues as they manage and develop services for our customers

Be solution focussed with a positive attitude to change.

Be collaborative, readily sharing knowledge, information and learning and actively seeking out opportunities to work with colleagues and stakeholders to develop ideas and solutions and improve services.

The role is rewarding and fulfilling but can be complex and challenging. This is why we have an excellent pay and benefits package, supported by an organisation where teamwork and success are regularly rewarded - because we want the very best to join our dynamic team.

Closing date: 13th August
