Due to extreme demand, we are looking to expand our fantastic team and therefore we are currently recruiting for Night Support Workers to join us in providing excellent care, support and companionship to a variety of care clients located in Brighton.

Our client relations are actively growing, which in turn allows us to offer you a selection of care services to support such as working with Residential Children's Homes, Supported Living Services, Children's Services, School Clubs, Youth Clubs, Vulnerable Adult Services, Care Homes, Housing Projects, Hostels and many more!

You will have the incredible opportunity to work alongside both children and young people, those at risk of homelessness, adults with PMLD (profound and multiple learning disabilities), individuals with mental health conditions, elderly residents and the list goes on.

Are you looking to work during the week? Maybe only on weekends or every other week? What about only during holidays? No problem! We want you to have full control of how little or much you want to work which is why we will offer you a selection of night shifts and sleep-ins across the entire week to ensure that you have full flexibility and a great work-life balance!

Typical duties include participating in handovers from day staff, ensuring the building is secured throughout the night by performing regular building patrols and checking any CCTV during shift. You will assist with evening routines which may include supporting users to prepare for bedtime, preparing meals and completing general household cleaning tasks. You will attend to service users throughout the night if required, perform checks on specific residents and record observations as well as maintain the service logbook throughout your shift with any activity during the night plus additional duties which may be given by management.

We are extremely proud of all our dedicated team, which is why we ensure to provide each of our Night Support Workers with a fantastic bundle of employee benefits. You will receive weekly pay, accruable holiday entitlement, a free Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS scheme*, option to be added onto a pension scheme, online training if required with certificates given to keep, excellent pay rates, a friendly team of consultants to support you and much more!

A minimum of six months paid experience within the care sector is required to be considered for the position.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience working night shifts, however this is not essential and we will be accepting individuals with a care background who are looking to begin working nights. You will be resilient, able to use your initiative, positive and reliable.

The ability to drive is not essential for this position.
