Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants in their search for an Accounts Assistant to work in the Oswestry area.
For the successful Accounts Assistant our client is offering:
i. A permanent Position (Mon-Fri)
ii. GBP19000 - GBP22000 DOE
iii. Bonus scheme
iv. Company pension
v. Sick pay
vi. On-site parking
The role - Accounts Assistant:
i. Preparing draft accounts (manually and using internal computer Software) from complete and incomplete records for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited
ii. Bank and Cash Control Accounts and Reconciliations
iii. Other Control accounts such as Sales and Purchase Ledger, HP etc
iv. Processing Tax Returns on Personal tax / Sol 6 software
v. Assist in carrying out Audits, following the company's audit programme
What our client is looking for in an Accounts Assistant:
i. 1-year accounting experience - PREFERRED
ii. GCSE or equivalent - PREFERRED
iii. Strong interpersonal skills.
iv. General bookkeeping skills
v. Experience of working within an accountancy practice environment. To include accounts preparation from incomplete records, VAT.
vi. Practice experience in preparing accounts to review stage - ESSENTIAL
