Our client is a well-established, training provider based in Grimsby but working across Lincolnshire and East Riding, providing apprenticeship and traineeship programmes. Due to the expansion and forward-thinking direction of the company they are looking to recruit a Business Administration and Data Programme Tutor Assessor. The purpose of this role is to manage a case load of learners to successful complete their training programmes.
This role is ideal for a strong administrator with excellent excel and data management skills who would like to get into teaching. The company will put the successful applicant through their assessor qualifications.
Job Duties:
* Support the delivery of learning programmes and provision to ensure contract and funding opportunities are maximised;
* Maintain high quality standards across all learning programmes, ensuring success rates remain high and observations of teaching, learning and assessment are at least good;
* Achieve targets in relation to starts, attendance, retention, achievement and progression across all learning programmes;
Personal Attributes:
* You will be a professional administrator, with a wealth of experience in the implementation of the principles of administration.
* A competent data technician, you will have a sound knowledge and experience of sourcing, formatting and presentation of data using a range of methods; blending data from various sources and formats; manipulation of data; analysis of structured and unstructured data using a range of techniques; validation of the results of data; communication of the results in written and verbal formats and presenting results to a wide audience.
* You will have stored, managed and shared data in a secure manner, compliant with appropriate legislation and organisational policy and have a thorough working knowledge and skills in the utilisation of the tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data, applying algorithms and statistical methods.
* You will be passionate about good administration practice, sound data entry and analysis techniques and keeping up to date with the developments in technologies, trends and innovation, with a strong desire to develop these skills in others.
* A knowledge of apprenticeships and traineeships together with the experience of teaching and assessment would be beneficial, though not essential as full training will be provided.
* Driving licence and use of a vehicle are essential.
Qualifications:
The job holder must be occupationally competent, having achieved the relevant qualifications in the sector in which they deliver. They must have also achieved or be willing to achieve, DTLLS/CertEd or the Level 5 Diploma. In addition, where occupational competency qualifications will be delivered within the role, they must hold or be willing to achieve the assessor award (D32/33/A1/CAVA).
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience, knowledge and skills in the occupational area delivered
* Excellent organisational skills;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, to produce internal and external reports;
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
* Knowledge of information technology, including Microsoft Office;
* Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, take responsibility, use initiative and be proactive, incorporating flexibility when required;
