1-Fix are a growing IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting over 75 clients with their IT support, along with providing guidance, consultancy and IT project support.
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our Service Desk team as an IT Support Engineer.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be working with the technical team in delivering excellent IT support and customer service to our clients, helping to ensure both individual and team SLAs are met.
The technical skills we would like you to have are:
Required skills:
* Previous experience on a helpdesk for an IT Managed Service Provider
* Good troubleshooting / analytical skills
* Ability to work with a ticketing system for workflow and job recording
* Experience of Office 365 administration
* Active Directory account creation/deletion
* Experience of supporting Windows desktop clients
* Hardware troubleshooting & building
* IT hardware installation
Desirable skills:
* Windows Server support/troubleshooting experience
* Mac OSX desktop support
Experience in a prior IT Service Desk role is essential, you will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You should be used to working to agreed deadlines, be methodical, proactive & organised and have excellent time management and attention to detail. You will also need to have a proactive and positive can-do attitude, an excellent telephone and face to face manner, attention to detail and the ability to work under varying levels of workload as the service desk can be unpredictable.
The standard working hours are Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, you will be based at our beautiful rural Finchampstead office, the option to work from home is also available after a qualifying period. There will be client site visits required to surrounding areas, so you will need to hold a full UK driving licence & have a car/motorbike (mileage will be paid for site visits from the Office location).

Occasional overtime is available and offered on a voluntary basis
