Location: Cheltenham, UK

Technical Network SME role, responsible for the design and implementation of Checkpoint Firewalls, Nozomi Guardian, Jump station Solution and Managed File Transfer (MFT).

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide technical assurance, leads and participates in the successful delivery of complex Network Infrastructure projects from planning, design (HL & LL) to implementation
Client facing skills and ability to discuss technical design, requirements and best practices with stakeholders at technical and business levels.
Produce design documents to effectively hand over infrastructure architectures to Operations teams for successful systems engineering and implementation
Collaborate with business leaders to design solutions that meet evolving company objectives
Align architectural strategy with customer's business objectives, delivers designs that meet business requirements, and on time.
Support the Delivery Managers in defining Work Packages and reporting.
Highlight and mitigate any risks identified at solution stage.
Installing and configuring Checkpoint Firewalls., Nozomi Guardian, Jump station Solution and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
Installing and configuring Nozomi Guardian.
Installing and configuring Jump station Solution.
Installing and configuring Managed File Transfer (MFT).
Stay current and follow UK Cyber Security and UK Compliance policies, processes and strategies. Technically support any requirements across the Cyber Security, Application and Infrastructure groups in region
Follow asset management processes in region and improve CMDB accuracy
Document and control Standard Operating Procedure (SOP's) for IT processes

Requirements:

Data Centre design architecture
Knowledge and hands on experience in Installing and configuring Checkpoint Firewalls., Nozomi Guardian, Jump station Solution and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
Knowledge of SFP's, GBIC.s Nexus F2/F3 Modules, Laying, terminating and testing of copper Cat6 & fibre data cabling
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and experience of supervising others
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
IT customer experience communicating across multiple stakeholder levels including IT End users, Suppliers & IT leadership
ITILv3/ITIL4 certified or recent relevant experience working in ITIL controlled environment
Security Clearance level Restrictions apply
