Business Development Representative
About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team based in our St Ives office. Reporting to the Global Head of Inside Sales, and supported by the Business Development Team Leader, your primary purpose will be to manage inbound enquiries and outbound lead generation and book onsite demonstrations with a Business Development Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for new inbound sales enquiries
Actively generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, telephone, emails and other lead sourcing activities
Qualifying and evaluating the requirement of leads to establish the need, budget, and timeframes
Managing a pipeline and follow up activities
Updating client information and recording progress in SalesForce
The successful candidate will:
Have a consultative approach to sales
Excellent IT proficiency and ability to understand a comprehensive software solution
Be adaptable and flexible
Have excellent communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with client
Be able to work effectively under pressure and hit sales targets
Have values aligned to simPRO's values and an eagerness to contribute to a positive office culture
It would be desirable to have:
Experience in a similar sales or lead generation role
Working knowledge of Google Suite and Salesforce
