The supply chain analyst will learn processes and systems 'on-the-job' to manage purchasing and inventory control of raw material/ finished goods/spare parts, ensuring the highest possible service level to customers within company guidelines

Description
Procurement of Raw Material, Finished Goods & Spare Parts from across the supply base.
Placing, maintaining & managing purchase orders from point of order to point of delivery
Manage Brexit processes - including but not exhaustive of custom invoice sales / stock transfers, Trader Support Service Supplementary declaration, commodity code maintenance, customs clearance and carrier management
Completing supply Chain regular reporting within defined SLA's + to a high degree of accuracy: Backorder report, NCR's Invoices queries etc.
Generating regular supply chain reports, producing Linear Plan on key 80 / at risk items & detailed shipping schedules
Supporting/leading continuous improvement initiatives
Attend, participate, host relevant daily, weekly & monthly meetings
Support NPI & strategic sourcing initiatives/directives.
Manage suppliers & 3pl distribution requirementsProfile
Previous experience within a Supply Chain function
MS Excel, advance level preferred
Strong Vendor Management Skills
Proactive approach to problem solving and highly analytical
Results oriented
Proven inventory management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to travel on occasion to supplier locations across the UK and EuropeJob Offer
