Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a vibrant independent sports club in Bristol with their search for an experienced Office & HR Manager in a newly created role. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly capable office manager with proven experience in people management, business strategy and HR administration who is keen to be part of an organisation that makes a difference every day and to make 'great', better.
As a community-focused not-for-profit organisation, our client is seeking an individual who will have the best interests of the staff and customers at the heart of their actions.
Key duties of the role will include:
* Overseeing the smooth running of the office
* Improving administrative procedures and streamlining processes
* Regularly updating staff on business goals and company strategies
* Ensuring business targets and KPIs are achieved
* Managing and developing a structured approach to staff onboarding, induction and offboarding processes
* Working with Dept Heads and Directors to improve productivity and efficiency
* Leading staff 1:1s, performance reviews and disciplinaries as required
* Ensuring employment contracts are up to date and regularly reviewed
* Coordination of staff holiday, sickness, absence, and maternity/paternity/adoption leave
* Maintaining accurate staff records, including DBS checks, safeguarding, referencing etc.
* Completing grant funding applications from alternative funding streams
* Daily use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, as well as Xero accounting software
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience of working in a busy and strategic office management role. You will have a good understanding of Human Resources procedures and a keen eye for detail. Due to the breadth and variety of this role, you will be a flexible self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously and as part of the senior management team. Strong IT skills and competency in using the Microsoft Suite are essential.

* Salary of GBP30,000/annum
* Flexible working hours, covering a 40-hour week (to include Saturday hours). Remote working from home available as part of your working week.
