Our client is one of the UK's top 10 accident repair groups. Employing over 250 staff, across 14 sites, repairing over 24,000 vehicles per year. .

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to recruit a HR & Recruitment Advisor for our busy teams. In a newly created role, you'll be working alongside the HR Director, with responsibility for day-to-day operational HR support.

Not for the faint hearted, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, acting on your own initiative and working autonomously whilst taking responsibility for decisions and finding practical solutions in tight timeframes.

Partnering at all levels of business (including leadership), you will help to deliver the People agenda. You will engage with the business across talent management, recruitment, employee engagement as well as onboarding and employee relations. You should also have knowledge of HR systems, metrics, and payroll administration.

You will be confident in advising promptly and reliably, on anything people related, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in - whilst being up for a challenge. Industry experience is not important, you just need to be driven, self-motivated and love working in a pacey, commercial and ever-changing environment and looking for your next career move.

Key Objectives
To provide full support to the business on all HR matters, in a responsive, timely and, where appropriate, pro-active way and in line with the group policies.
To provide a comprehensive HR advisory service to the company (the role is not to take people management away from line managers).
Assist managers with advertising/interview/selection arrangements.
Manage the process of new appointments from offer to induction, payroll instructions, driving licence checks, updating the HR system and ensure terminations are handled appropriately.
Participate in the design and update of HR processes to meet the needs of the business.
Support with the apprentice programme.
Ensure that training records are maintained.
To build and maintain a database of key suppliers of recruitment and training and development who provide and could provide services to the group.
Understand, respond to and represent specific employee issues.
Advise and support managers in the application of the disputes and performance management procedures including attendance at hearings where appropriate.
Knowledge of employment law would be useful but not essential
CIPD Desirable but not a deal-breaker

What's on offer?
Monday to Friday 8.30-17.30
Enfield/working from home when appropiate
GBP30-35,000 (Depending on experience)
