We are now recruiting for a Fleet Administrator, to assist with the day to day running of a fleet of 3500+ vehicles, ensuring that they are legally compliant and roadworthy. You will support engineers in the field, solving problems and minimising inconvenience and downtime. The successful candidate will need a strong administration background in a fleet or vehicle orientated environment.
Key Responsibilities as Fleet Administrator:
- Ordering fuel cards
- Taxing vehicles
- Ordering ancillary parts for engineers' vehicles
- Processing parking fines
- Booking driver training courses
- Logging accident reports on a dedicated Fleet System
- Arranging vehicle deliveries and collections
- Moving vehicles from the compound to other storage sites / garages
- Answering queries by phone and email
- Reporting using Excel, google apps (gmail, gsheets etc)
- Other administrative duties as and when required
The successful Fleet Administrator will have the following skills:
- Administration Experience
- IT skills in Excel
- Outgoing personality and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good at working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent phone manner and customer service skills
- Experience of working within a large fleet department is desirable but not essential
This is a temporary role for 3 months; hours will be Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Pay Rate: GBP10.30 ph
