Salary: up to GBP35K per annum

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

Our client are a prestigious property agent and student accommodation agent.

The role:

We need an General/Office Manager to help us run the office and continue to grow while delivering our mission.

We're looking for a super energetic, positive, practically minded person, who's willing to roll-up their sleeves and lead by example.

You'll be responsible for running the office, ensuring our team of property managers and lettings negotiators are doing their very best and ensuring our customer are being cared for.

Residential and student lettings are both very fast paced markets. While we strive for excellence, things do go wrong. You'll need to be motivated to turn any complaint into an advocate (we know that's not always possible).

You never know what the next phone call or email will bring, every week we come across situation none of us have seen before, you will need to take ownership, think on your feet and make decisions fast.

You'll report to the business owner who is very hands off, so you have freedom to make decision and own the outcomes, good and bad. You'll need to understand how the business works commercially and operationally and be ready for challenges.

One thing you should know and be absolutely comfortable with is: We're a small business with less then 10 people. This means some of the responsibilities will blend into those you might consider to be those of others. We need you to be someone who is naturally willing to get stuck in, and relishes the opportunity and reward that being part of a small business brings.

The successful candidate:

While we know the type of person we're looking for, we don't need applicants to fit in a specific mould, however previous property and lettings experience is required. What we truly need is you to have a positive attitude, drive and energy to lead our team, be committed to our values and delivering amazing customer experience.

We need someone who's super organized, calm under pressure and can re-priorities fast.
