South Thames College are now looking to appoint an Examinations Officer to provide support in the day-to-day operational management of South Thames College Examinations department.

As Examinations Officer, you will liaise with appropriate awarding bodies and academic staff regarding registrations, access arrangements, results and certificates. You’ll take responsibility for the coordination of invigilators, examination timetables and the storage, distribution, collection and submission of exam papers.

We’re looking for an individual who has previous experience of working in an examinations role, and who has experience of working with and complying with centrally established procedures and externally imposed regulations. Able to communicate effectively at all levels, you will demonstrate the ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise and demonstrate, through experience, education and training, the ability to understand and carry out administrative functions in a complex environment. You’ll need to have excellent skills in numeracy, communication and IT, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email, and be able to work effectively under pressure. Experience of supervising the work of others is desirable, but not essential.
