Here at Carshalton College, we are now looking for a Lecturer to teach and assess on a range of Motor Vehicle courses.

You will deliver training and assessment activities to a range of learners on our full time and part time courses, including on-site work-based assessment. You will liaise with external agencies as appropriate with regard to the delivery of Motor Vehicle curriculums and carry out assessment, evaluation and other administrative or workshop duties relating to the post.

We’re looking for a full qualified Motor Mechanic who holds a Level 3 qualification as a minimum. With experience of working as part of a team, you will have previous success of working in the Motor Vehicle industry and have worked with systems and equipment in a wide range of environments.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to teach at a level appropriate to the students and in a way that recognises their different learning abilities. Knowledge and understanding of current curriculum changes and the implications for learning strategies in Motor Vehicle is a must, as is the ability to teach and assess Motor Vehicle practices in either a teaching or learning environment or in the workplace. A teaching qualification is also essential.
