Cleaning Section Leader
Job Title: Cleaning Section Leader (Part Time - 20 hours a week)
Salary: GBP10,925 (equates to GBP10.50 per hour) + pension, medical, 10% ASDA Discount Card, 33 days holiday
Location: Sedgley, Dudley, DY3 1SS
This role is part time and permanent and is 20 hours per week
My client is a national Facilities Management company called 'City Facilities Management, they employ over 12,000 people working nationally with one of the UK's major Supermarkets which is 'ASDA'.
They have a fantastic opportunity for you join their cleaning team as Cleaning Section Leader for the ASDA Supermarket in Sedgley, delivering the cleaning specification and maintaining hygiene standards by leading and coaching the store based team.
This is a hands-on role requiring a team player who will not only manage their team but work alongside them delivering janitorial and cleaning services. The position is a permanent and is a part time role working 20 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7 days and will include some weekend work.
From your 20 hours, 10 hours will be managing the cleaning team and 10 hours will be hands on cleaning.
The majority of shifts for this role will be early morning (6.00am) starts, so 6.00am-10.00am shifts 5 days out of 7.
They are looking for a candidate who has a managerial or strong supervisory background and may be ready to take on their first management role in this challenging position. Ideal candidates will have a proven background in Retail Cleaning Management / Supervisor but we also welcome applications who have supervisory / team leader / managerial experience in retail, catering, facilities or other services sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
?? To ensure cleaning duties and delivered as specified in the cleaning specification, allocating priorities and monitoring standards
?? To manage the store cleaning within allocated hours in line with the ideal rota
?? To complete all associated administrative duties
?? To recruit and induct colleagues in accordance with company policies and procedures
?? To deliver a high standard of customer service
Candidates must be able to get to the ASDA Supermarket in Sedgley for 6.00am starts.
Candidates must be prepared to be very hands on with this role.
