At LNER we are leading the industry around innovation to solve major issues affecting our customers and people. We have an ambitious five-year plan, along with the resource and funding to deliver digital transformation - a step change in travel.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the successful adoption of digital products and culture across the LNER business. This will ensure that the investment LNER makes in digital transformation will result in ideal customer and employee experiences as new products are adopted in day to day working life.

The role will develop and deliver engagement programmes and plans based on the upcoming digital roadmap, disseminate messages from the digital directorate to external departments and the outside world to build the influence of digital and create a positive message for its products to encourage adoption. It will also solicit information and feedback from external sources to help digital perform better. This role will help understand how well Digital is performing against the expectation and understand where changes need to be made to help it improve.

So, what are we looking for? We want someone who has the ability to

* Manage and lead a variety of stakeholders at all levels

* Business focused as well as a focus on creativity and innovation

* Business development and negotiation experience

* Very strong influencing and communication skills

* Able to quickly build relationships and gain an understanding of the business and rail industry

* Strong collaborative skills, team player

* The ability to translate digital projects in to easy to understand communications

* Experience with trade unions would be an advantage
