The Web Designer - UX Role:
You should be able to demonstrate a good level of skills, understanding and knowledge across the industry standard range of design and digital applications (Adobe Creative). You'll be expected to provide support, where needed, to the wider design and creative departments.
Skills and experience necessary for this role:
+ 2-3+ years' experience working in an integrated advertising, digital marketing or pure play digital agency
+ Excellent software skills including mainstream applications (Adobe XD, Photoshop/Illustrator/Flash etc.)
+ Solid design and digital understanding
+ Have experience in working in a similar environment in the digital space
+ A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to execute different design styles across Social, Digital & Print channels
+ Have a great understanding of designing for digital mediums, creating wireframes and User Interface design
+ Bootstrap experience
+ Experience in designing for web, ideally website design
+ Knowledge of UX principles and applications
+ A good eye for detail
+ The confidence to own projects, manage workload, meet deadlines & stick to budget
+ Good communication skills - ability to communicate design process, concepts and reasoning
Responsibilities:
+ Work on a range of digital asset design and creation from websites through to email campaigns
+ Work collaboratively with the developers to produce functional web designs
+ Undertake website UX audits for new business prospects, making design recommendations geared towards online conversion
+ Communicate these ideas in new business meetings and client meetings
+ Assist in the production of business collateral and continued brand and web design improvements for First Internet
