If you are looking for a career in care where you feel valued, recognised and appreciated, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for individuals to join our established and expanding homecare team in Barry. This is a great opportunity where we will pair you up with a colleague, to travel together and support our Service Users in their own homes to live independently and safely; a full driving licence is essential for this position.

You will benefit from;

* Regular set shifts, so you can plan things easily around work

* Payment between your calls for travel and waiting time

* Support from a dedicated Care Co-ordinator

* Support to progress your career and gain registered Care Worker status

* 2 weekends off per month & increase weekend pay when you do work!

* Choice of contracted or flexible terms of employment

You will receive;

* New starter bonus

* Paid travel and waiting time + mileage

* Full time hours and set shifts

* GBP9 per hour, increasing if Social Care Wales registered

* Travel within the community to provide care

* Commit to shifts (e.g 06:45-15:00 & 16:30-22:30)

* Be aged over 18

Your role:

All of our service users are different, as we all are, so each day will be. You may be required to support with intimate hygiene or meal preparation, share a hot drink or help with a puzzle. We provide care to anyone who requires support, so whilst we don't specialise in a particular care need, we ensure that all of our Care Workers are confident and able to support with a wide range of tasks.

About you:

Previous experience in the care sector would be advantageous but isn't essential as we provide full training and support to all of our staff, including a comprehensive induction.

You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be kind, compassionate and committed to delivering the very best level of care. If this is you, we would love to hear from you!

Additional information:

* Weekly pay

* Flexible work pattern

* Refer a friend bonus

* Support to achieve QCF levels 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care
