Lead Handler
Our client who work within the Window and Doors industry, are looking to recruit a Lead Handler based at their offices in the Cambs region.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Actively follow up all leads and enquiries for windows & doors for domestic projects from key customers, private individuals, architects and contractors. Project types include extensions, self-build and replacement Windows & Doors and value ranges from GBP1k - GBP60k. Dealing mainly on the telephone receiving and making calls, supporting showroom visits and attending exhibitions.
OVERVIEW OF TASKS:
Enquiry Handling - 80%
* Answering calls - 1st line of support to main line, customer enquires / leads will be generated from website, product & technical enquiries and marketing material.
* Register each lead / enquiry onto CRM system to enable follow up and allocation to Direct / Distribution teams
* Proactively promote the products to customer, offering guidance and advice with a view of attaining a costing enquiry
* Follow up all live leads within a 6 mth period in a structured way
* Recording information on the CRM system to allow future analysis / reporting
* Provide customer Guidance on quote and order procedures

Other Tasks - 20%
* To fulfil showroom commitments - customer visits
* To attend Exhibitions (approx. 4 per annum - UK based)
* Referral of suitable leads to our distribution partners
* Posting of literature and samples

EDUCATION:
An acceptable level of Numeracy, literacy and I.T skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Essential:-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales or customer service environment
Desirable:-
Experience in a Builder's Merchant, architect's practice, or main contractor
Experience with reading Construction / Technical specification drawings
General experience in the building or home improvement industry
Estimating experience
Experience in an international company
Merchandising experience
Telesales or telemarking experience
Technical Sales experience
SALARY AND PACKAGE
Salary band: GBP19,000 to GBP23,000 per annum
Bonus: performance related bonus of up to GBP6,000 per annum, payable in arrears
Pension (5% Employer contribution/4% Employee contribution)
Private medical insurance
25 days holiday per annum plus statutory days
Life insurance (3 x salary)
