My client are a leading provider of environmental and energy solutions for industrial & commercial clients. They work with a broad client base across carbon procurement, environmental products and execution of energy risk management - offering both physical and financial solutions.
Their experienced advisory team has been active in carbon and environmental markets for 15+ years. They provide end-to-end consultation to understand and manage carbon risk exposure and deliver a pathway to achieving Net Zero, tailoring the strategy to your specific needs, constraints, and goals.
They build long-term partnerships with their clients, providing high levels of transparency and trust. The energy transition is under way, and they are committed to providing the right solutions, technology and insights to facilitate this journey for their clients.
Key Responsibilities but not all:
* Preparations of monthly reports
* Support Month end process
* Responsible for fixed asset register
* Assist with preparation on annual accounts
* Assist with preparation of VAT
* Provide financial analysis
* Other ad-hoc duties on request from senior management
Skills & Education:
* Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
* Self-motivated and detail oriented with strong administrative discipline and an ability to set and manage priorities
* Very good written and oral skills in English
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience in a similar role
* Sage Line 50 experience (not essential)
* Financial Trading company experience would be beneficial but not essential
* Experience in reporting gross and net margins
* Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently, using own initiative and target orientated
* Proactive approach to problem solving with the confidence to propose new solutions and process improvements
* Understanding of how to build strong working relationships across the business
Ideal candidates will have an inquisitive nature with a proactive approach to get stuck into the details
