Business Services Senior in York
Our Client:
We are currently working with a flourishing Chartered Accountant based in York.
They are now seeking an ambitious Business Services Senior for their established team.
The Business Services Senior will be dealing with a wide range of work to include:
* Managing accounts work by others including outsourcing providers.
* Client management accounting (Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks knowledge).
* Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for Sole Traders, Company, and Partnerships.
* Processing Partnership Tax Returns.
* Accurate data entry input and updating.
Requirements for this Business Services Senior Role in York:
* ACCA/ACA exam qualified preferred but not essential.
* Accounting and finance or other relevant degree preferred but not essential.
* Good up-to-date and recent developments in accounting standards.
* Experience of OMB's covering a range of industries.
* Computer packages - Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Line 50, Iris, CCH Pro audit, VT.
* A highly motivated individual.
* Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
* Client focused and commercially aware
* Technical approach to work and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Self-starter
* Committed team player.
* Attention to detail.
* Deadline driven and ability to thrive on pressure.
* Organisation skills - ability to manage a number of different tasks simultaneously.
What's on offer?
* Competitive salary GBP30,000 - GBP45,000, depending on experience
