One of the leading charities in the UK working with families in need is looking for an Accounts Administration Assistant to join its team on fixed term 6 month contract basis. This is a part time role working 17 hours per week spread across 09:00 - 16:00 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

As an Accounts Administration Assistant your responsibilities will include:

Dealing with finance emails and queries, including checking purchase invoices are correct and can be paid
Carrying out bank reconciliation
Checking the Virgin Money Giving report, and recording payments against fundraising events and entering on spreadsheets - thanking donors as appropriate
Processing staff and volunteer expenses and staff timesheets
Entering all financial transactions on QuickBooks

The successful Accounts Administration Assistant will have the following skills and experience:

Experience of using one or more accounts software packages such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero
Excellent numerate skills
The ability to take instruction and document learnings
Previous experience working in an accountancy / finance role would be advantageous but not essential

In return, for this Finance Administration Assistant role you will receive a pay rate of GBP10.00 per hour.
