Management Accountant (Part/Newly Qualified)

Axon Moore are partnering with an growing PE backed business in Wigan who are looking for an ambitious part qualified Management Accountant.

This is a unique opportunity for a forward- thinking individual to join the business at an exciting time, within a progression plan in place to Finance Manager/ Financial Controller.

Responsibilities include:

Production of monthly management accounts for the business, including P&L, balance sheet, key reconciliations.
Produce monthly cost analysis with comparisons to budget and prior year, identifying trends and action plans for Department Managers.
Monitor and record the business cash flow including processing of invoices and the processing of supplier BACS payments.
Input and contribute to the annual budget for the business, working closely with operational and commercial colleagues.
Provide support in preparing statutory accounts.
Identify and develop improvements to existing business processes including those within finance.
Ad hoc and hands on support to the Head of Finance
It is essential candidates have experience in a similar position, and are either part qualified or a finalist ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA. However candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.

You will be reporting directly into an excellent Head of Finance who will strive to help candidates to step into a senior role across the business. It also provides unrestricted scope to add value to multiple departments and stakeholders, as well as building a new finance team.
